This vest set off by extended shoulders (mimicking a “shoulder pad” look) was designed with Slobodkina’s distinctive regal flair. Slobodkina had an affinity for the colors red and purple.

In this work, she united the two colors by combining remnants of cloth reminiscent of an Indian design. The vest is accessorized by mirror sequences and silver thread embroidery.
